Efficient & Stylish: My Embassy Suites Experience in Raleigh-Durham
This past Thanksgiving holiday, I visited my daughter in Raleigh, NC. Naturally, I wanted to stay close to her in Brier Creek, someplace safe, quiet, and comfortable for me and my teenage son. After some research, I landed at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Raleigh-Durham, and I'm so glad I did! This hotel delivers on all fronts when it comes to combining comfort, convenience, and charm.
Nestled at the intersection of US-70 and I-540, this stylish property is less than 10 minutes from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, with a complimentary airport shuttle that ensures stress-free arrivals and departures. The location couldn't be better—just a mile from the shops at Brier Creek Commons and a short drive from the iconic Angus Barn.
I've had the pleasure of staying here twice now in their spacious, non-smoking 2-room suite with 1 King bed. As a divorced mom traveling with my teenage son, I always prioritize safety, space, and style—and this suite checks every box. The separate living area offers the perfect balance of togetherness and personal space. Whether traveling solo, as a couple, or with a family of six, the Embassy Suites offers comfortable accommodations for everyone.
Aesthetic & Service Highlights
What truly elevates the Embassy Suites experience is the thoughtful touches and standout service. The hotel's modern decor is chic and inviting, but the warm staff and amenities make all the difference.
The complimentary made-to-order breakfast is a highlight, and Chef Elliott Mayo deserves a special shout-out for his culinary expertise. My son and I couldn't get enough of his omelets—they are delicious! Another treat is the complimentary Evening Reception, a staple at Embassy Suites, offering light bites and drinks that make the hotel feel cozy and welcoming.
A Few Suggestions for Improvement
No stay is perfect, but the Embassy Suites come close. One area for improvement would be the parking situation—while there are accessible parking spaces, adding more near the main entrance would make things even more convenient. Also, having laundry bags in the rooms would be helpful for longer stays.
Why It's Worth the Stay
Whether you're flying in for business, visiting family, or planning a relaxing getaway, the Embassy Suites in Raleigh-Durham strikes the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury—all at great value.
Travel Tip: Don't miss the chicken fajita omelet at breakfast—it's the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring Raleigh-Durham. Thanks again, Chef Elliott!
