Delightful in Durham

Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Durham, NC, focusing on exploring Duke University and the vibrant Durham Arts community. Given my penchant for upscale accommodations, I was initially hesitant about staying at an "airport hotel." However, the Westin Raleigh-Durham Airport defied my expectations and delivered an exceptional experience I'll gladly recommend to anyone visiting the Raleigh-Durham area.

Situated in the charming Brier Creek area, the hotel boasts a modern and stylish aesthetic that immediately impresses upon arrival. From a full-service Starbucks in the lobby to an outstanding Italian restaurant, the hotel offers a range of amenities to cater to guests' needs. The rooftop pool and well-equipped gym provide additional opportunities for relaxation and recreation.

In terms of accommodations, the Westin excels in attention to detail. Small touches like a black washcloth for makeup removal and lavender essential oil pillow spray enhance the overall comfort of the stay. The Westin Heavenly Bed 2.0 ensures a restful night's sleep, while the marble walk-in shower adds a touch of luxury to the bathroom.

Although it was off-season and the rooftop pool was closed, my son and I made the most of the 24-hour fitness center. Il Falo, the hotel's restaurant, exceeded our expectations with its delectable cuisine and attentive service. Whether it was breakfast, brunch, or dinner, each meal was a delightful experience that left us eagerly anticipating our next visit.

I'm looking forward to returning in the summer to enjoy all the hotel's amenities. My sincere thanks to the staff for their exceptional hospitality – until next time!
